Welcome to AlgoCharting. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the AlgoCharting platform accessible at algocharting.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the AlgoCharting website, APIs, and all associated services.
  • "User" refers to any individual who creates an account or accesses the Platform.
  • "Paper Trading" refers to simulated trading using virtual funds with real-time market data.
  • "Live Trading" refers to actual trading executed through connected exchange accounts (DhanHQ, Delta Exchange).
  • "Strategy" refers to any automated trading rule configured on the Platform (e.g., EMA Crossover, RSI, MACD).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use AlgoCharting. If you are connecting exchange accounts for live trading, you must comply with the eligibility requirements of those exchanges and all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Users residing in jurisdictions where algorithmic or automated trading is prohibited may not use the live trading features of this Platform.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts may be suspended without notice.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Paper Trading

Paper trading on AlgoCharting simulates real market conditions using virtual funds. You acknowledge that:

  • Paper trading results are simulated and do not guarantee similar results in live markets.
  • Virtual funds have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
  • Simulated executions may differ from live market conditions due to factors such as slippage, partial fills, and market impact.
  • The default virtual balance of ₹1,00,000 INR is provided for educational and testing purposes only.

5. Live Trading

If you connect exchange accounts (DhanHQ, Delta Exchange, Fyers) for live trading:

  • You are solely responsible for all trades executed through your connected exchange accounts, whether manual or automated.
  • AlgoCharting acts as an intermediary platform and is not a broker, dealer, or financial advisor.
  • Automated strategies execute trades based on predefined rules. Market conditions can change rapidly, and strategies may result in losses.
  • You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds, margin, and risk management on your exchange accounts.
  • AlgoCharting does not guarantee order execution, fill prices, or the performance of any strategy.
  • Exchange API credentials are encrypted at rest but you are responsible for the security of your API keys and should use read/trade-only permissions (never withdrawal permissions).

6. No Financial Advice

AlgoCharting provides tools, charts, indicators, and AI-powered analysis for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes:

  • Investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice.
  • A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.
  • A guarantee of future performance or returns.

AI advisory features (powered by GPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Grok) provide market analysis based on algorithms and language models. These outputs are not personalized financial advice and should not be the sole basis for any trading decision. Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

7. Risk Disclosure

Trading in equities, futures, options, and cryptocurrency derivatives involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You should be aware that:

  • You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
  • Leveraged products (futures, options, perpetual contracts) can amplify both gains and losses.
  • Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and operate 24/7.
  • Past performance (including backtesting results) is not indicative of future results.
  • Automated strategies may malfunction, experience delays, or behave unexpectedly during volatile market conditions.
  • Technical failures (internet outages, server downtime, exchange API issues) may prevent order execution or cancellation.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to manipulate markets, engage in wash trading, or any form of market abuse.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to scrape data or overload the Platform infrastructure.
  • Share your account credentials or API keys with third parties.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Platform or its data without written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's servers, networks, or infrastructure.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, algorithms, and documentation — are owned by AlgoCharting and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. TradingView charting library is used under license from TradingView Inc.

You must not use any part of the charting content, data visualizations, or technical analysis tools on this website for commercial purposes without first obtaining the necessary licence from the respective rights holders. You must not use this website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.

10. Data and Market Information

Real-time and historical market data is sourced from third-party exchanges and data providers (DhanHQ, Delta Exchange). AlgoCharting does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. You should not rely solely on Platform data for trading decisions.

11. Service Availability

AlgoCharting strives to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates.
  • Exchange API outages or rate limiting.
  • Network or infrastructure issues beyond our control.
  • Force majeure events.

We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlgoCharting and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any trading losses, whether from manual or automated trading.
  • Losses caused by exchange outages, API failures, or delayed order execution.
  • Losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Losses arising from reliance on AI advisory outputs or strategy signals.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to AlgoCharting in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlgoCharting, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • All automated strategies will be immediately disabled.
  • You remain responsible for any open positions on connected exchanges.
  • Your data may be retained as required by applicable laws.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
